The short answer
Tango Gestión handles what happens after the customer says yes: the order and its approval, the invoice, stock and the account balance, with price lists and per-customer discounts. The stretch before that stays outside the system: which quotes are open, who owns them, when to follow up and under what criteria a condition outside the rule gets authorized. That stretch is covered by a sales follow-up tool that reads customers, products and price lists from Tango and hands back the approved order with its conditions. Changing ERP is not needed.
What Tango keeps, and should keep
Tango is the record of what the company sold and collected. Moving it elsewhere means loading everything twice and keeping two account balances that never match.
- Price lists and per-customer conditions
- Several lists, price and discount per customer. Every quoted price starts there, so it has to remain the single source.
- Orders with approval
- The order comes in, gets approved and invoiced in the same circuit. By the time it gets here, the negotiation is over.
- Stock, account balance and invoicing
- What was delivered, what is owed and what was invoiced. Admin looks at it every day; leave it alone.
- Quotes and prospects
- Tango Plus records quotes, prospects and the reason a quote was lost. It works as a record; following up is still someone's job.
What happens before the sale reaches Tango
- The price gets decided in the chat
- An electrician asks for fifteen products over WhatsApp. The salesperson answers from memory of the customer and the latest list, and the number stays on the phone.
- The condition is negotiated out loud
- Free freight, 60-day terms, one more point of discount. It was agreed by talking, and Tango sees it only when someone loads the order, if they load it at all.
- Nobody follows up the quote
- The customer did not answer. Nobody is assigned to call, and three days later they bought elsewhere. In Tango nothing happened, because it never became an order.
- The exception gets approved without the numbers in front
- Someone asks if they can give a discount and you answer with a voice note. What margin was left, and why, gets reconstructed at month end.
What the tool next to Tango has to do
It is not a second ERP. It works on the stretch Tango does not cover, with Tango's data, and hands over the order once the negotiation is done.
- Read from Tango, never duplicate
- Customers, products and lists come from Tango. If the salesperson has to load the customer again, in two months there are two versions of each.
- Apply your criteria before the price goes out
- The list that customer gets, the discount each salesperson can give and the margin floor live where the quote is made, not in your memory.
- Leave every quote with an owner and a next action
- Who has it, when it gets picked up again and what was agreed. What has no next action is what gets lost.
- Ask for authorization with context
- A condition outside the rule reaches the approver with customer, amount, remaining margin and reason. It gets approved with the numbers in front, not with a voice note.
- Hand the approved order back to Tango
- With its conditions: price, terms, discount, delivery. Admin invoices what was negotiated, without asking the salesperson.
Signs it is happening to you
- Two salespeople give the same customer different prices
- The list is one; the criteria to apply it lives in each of them.
- You learn about the discount once it is invoiced
- Tango recorded it correctly. The problem is nobody reviewed it before.
- A new salesperson starts from zero
- Each customer's agreements and pending items stayed on the previous phone.
- Your open quotes live in a separate spreadsheet
- Someone keeps it by hand, and it goes stale the same day.
How we do it with Patio
Customers, products, lists and account balances stay in Tango. Patio keeps the stretch before the order and your criteria: which list each customer gets, up to what discount each salesperson decides and which condition needs your ok.
Every quote keeps an owner, a next action and what was agreed with the customer. A condition outside the rule reaches the approver with the full picture. The approved order goes back to Tango with its conditions.
We agree on what comes from Tango and what goes back, depending on your version and the process we start with. We define it during discovery, with real cases from your company.
